Tar Heel Post

Kendall Marshall and North Carolina dominated Florida State in today's game on Super Bowl Sunday. The final score was 89-69. Kendall Marshall set a school record of assists in an ACC game with 16. Compare that with only 3 turnovers and you have quite a game for the freshman.  With the loss of Larry Drew, it looks as if the point guard position will still be in good hands for some time. The Tar Heels leading scorer with 17 points was Harrison Barnes, who has really turned it on in the last three games. Henson and Zeller each added 16 points. The Tar Heels now go into their next game Wednesday at Duke with a fight on their hands for first place in the ACC.
